Our New Online Tuition Classes ― Professional Tutoring From Your Home PC
We now offer the full range of Primary, Secondary, and JC maths tuition online. Online clsses allow our students to be able to have tuition classes right from their home computers, without the need for travel time & inconveniences.
We will walk you through the setup process. All class materials will be sent to you before the class starts, so you can print out the materials and work on them during the actual online class.

Weekly Teacher Meetings
As educators, we believe it is imporant to work together, to build on each teacher’s strengths. That’s why teachers at The Maths Lab meet regularly to exchange notes, support each other, and compare the latest teaching materials. We want to synergise our efforts, and formulate the best teaching practices together. The meetings are also a good time for our teachers to discuss hard-to-solve problems, or work through the latest round of MOE exams solutions. As a result, our teachers are better prepared for classes, teach more proficietly, and have lots of quality materials to share with students.
Practice Makes Perfect
There is no Maths “secret” to success. It simply takes practice, practice, & more practice. In our cirriculum, students practicing a topic over and over again. We approach a topic from different angles, giving different solutions, so students fully understand the principles behind each solution.
Patient Teachers
Some students learn faster, some learn slower. We understand the importance of pacing the student at their own pace. That’s why our teachers allow students to learn at a pace they are comfortable with, so the student doesn’t give up (or end up disliking mathematics). If a group class is moving too fast for the student, we would recommend an alternative class, or switching temporarily to 1-to-1 classes. And at a slower but steady pace, we coach them towards academic achievement.
Learning Perseverance
We believe every child can succeed, they just progress at different paces. We teach students that it is okay to make a mistake (eveyone does), but it is not okay to give up. To succeed in Maths (or any other subject), we believe perseverance is one of the most important predictors of success. And if a student is willing to work hard & persevere, our teachers are willing to go the extra mile with them.
